I'm currently employed as a Senior Flash Developer at mediaRAIN. However, any views, comments, opinions, etc. are my own, and do not reflect the opionions or views of mediaRAIN.
A while back I received an invite to try out reinvigorate - a service which aims to deliver real-time web stats for your sites, and I finally installed it on my blog.
As part of the service, they offer Snoop, which is a small application that you can run in the background, and will notify you whenever a new visitor arrives on your site. You can also setup custom notifications for more specific events if you like. It’s actually kinda fun to hear a little noise every time someone visits a post on my blog.
I’ve only been running it for about 20 minutes now, but so far it seems pretty slick. One thing I’ve noticed though is that they don’t seem to track is Flash Player version, but they do track Microsoft .NET installs. Personally, I’d think that the Flash info would be a little more useful.
reinvigorate is currently in a closed beta, but you can register for an invite, which they apparently are giving out on a “week(ish)” basis.
I’ve been struggling with this problem for a while now, and while it’s kinda nice to see that it’s been filed as a bug, and not something I’m doing wrong, it’s still frustrating because I need this working asap.
Last night as I was on my way to a class I’m taking, I was rear-ended while waiting at an intersection. The light had just barely turned green and as soon as I had started moving, I was hit from behind by a Dodge Dakota. Apparently, the guy in the Dakota thought that I was moving a lot faster than I really was.
Luckily, no one was hurt. That’s the important thing.
These are two of the best kills I’ve ever seen in a game. (Well, technically one is a suicide, but it’s still pretty awesome.) They’re both from Halo 3, using the movie editor thing, which so far, is one of the coolest features of the game.
Sure, there are severalplacesoutthere where you’ll find this information, but nothing really in an easy-to-print form you could hang on your cube wall.
This list is far from comprehensive, but it’s a list of the ones I use most often, and find the most useful. There’s a reason I made the first one on the list “View all Shortcuts”.
As I’m a Mac user, the shortcuts are for the Mac version of Flex Builder, but I would assume that you Windows folks can just use Ctrl instead of the Command key.
