The “Meet Your Match” mini-site posted by Macromedia is a GREAT example of the new video abilities of Flash Player 8.
Using the theme of a dating service, this presentation allows you to navigate around the lobby of the dating service, and uses five videos of people to present the content and different features of Studio 8. Click on the folks sitting there, and they’ll get up, start talking, and then present another video for you to view. You’ll be able to get a first-hand view of the real-time video compositing in action, as well as the improved performance of the player itself.
Needless to say, you’ll need the beta version of Player 8, and a broadband connection to view the site.
Things are only going to get better with this stuff…
