Remember MegaMan? Of course you do. Now remember how everytime you began a new level, the screen would become a field of stars, while the boss you’re about to face appeared, including some intro music?

The MegaMan Effect created by Mike Zornek, takes care of that for you in OS X. Just launch the app and leave it running in the background. Any application you open will then appear with that MegaMan-style intro, complete with 8-bit music to back it up.

Here’s a screenshot of it in action:

By the way, this is for Mac users only - as Mike said:

“Sorry but I don’t use Windows anymore and have no interest in making a port.”

Could someone who has OSX possibly make this available in a format that could be viewed on windows. Some of us who -are- using windows may be interested in making the port! ^_^

I would just like to point out that any product with an apple on it is a waste of money and should be thrown into a pit of lava…anyway DONT BE SO SELFISH!!! us windows using smart people who can deal with and fix problems would like this program too so just put out a little effort and make a port. I know I’m not the only one who has asked you this before. if someone else out there has made a port email me at GOMUDEB@hotmail.com

You’re entitled to your own opinion about Apple stuff, but as far as a Windows port of this app goes, you’ll need to contact the author - not me.

What about a linux port??? It’s more alike to Mac OSx than windows isn’t it?

Hey maybe this is a new reason to switch to an osx operating system ;P I have an osx and it ROCKS!!! believe me windows suck and i would nevr program for it either. although linux is kinda cool…
